times worse? People need to give this movie a break and realize that a lot of time and effort went into making this movie, and you can't go complain about a good constructed gore fest movie, when you went to that movie for the exact same reason to begin with, knowing it was going to be terribly gory. Don't be such a harsh critic and hate this movie! Sure the acting wasn't all that great... but isn't it hard to act a role perfectly when you have to pretend there's a horrible alien standing in front of you or ripping out of you? We have to realize acting in horror roles are harder than they seem to be? if you are a horror movie lover, and like to get scared, please rent this, it has a good plot and great special effects.

the crew. Only one of the crew is fully infected with the alien DNA - Patrick Ross. Once back on Earth, Patrick goes about mating with human women and producing offspring on at an alarming rate, becoming more alien than human. But with two aliens on Earth, it is not long until the two are bound to cross paths. And then, it is the end of the world as we know it.The film brings back Michael Madsen and Marg Helgenberger from the 1st film, back to fight the alien menace for a second time. But having a male alien and a female alien out there is bound to cause problems. And even though Eve is half human, anyone can see that the other alien half is going to get in the way. But as you will see in the film, the scientists get themselves into trouble by firstly creating an alien, and then re-awakening dormant alien genes in her to find Patrick. It just goes to show how powerful the sex drive is... alien or human.

soft core porn and, almost random, nudity. Taking that little ingrediant, and like gore, doubling it. Not to be funny, but watching the original on your own...when the nudity arrived...its hard to keep your friend down...this time it just over doses it a tad, almost making it feel awkward considering this is not meant to be a porn video. I'm giving it 7, which kind of sounds contradictory considering all I talked about was the bad things. But it is...at times...decent. And if you want "fan service" then this film is the mecca of them all. Just consider this is a little less action chick, a little more skin flick.

special effects were astonishing just as in the first one.i thoroughly enjoyed this movie so i give it 8/10.but my question for all haters of this movie and the first is "how else should it have been done? with Species rats?"

scenes, and the tentacled beings covered in slime generate a lot of fun, especially bursting forth from people's stomachs or chasing around the ground which are good times. Several other scenes with the alien children shooting their cocoons together and the effects work there allows even more goopy, gory fun in conjunction with a continuation of fun kills, miraculous healing abilities from both creatures and copious nudity. There are some flaws here, though, namely the decision to allow the captured male into the quarantined zone with the girl when there's plenty of knowledge to indicate his goal is to mate with her, as well as the film's rather tacky CGI during the finale when the practical effects were working so well. It loses some steam in the middle where they keep coming up short in the quest to stop him rampaging and raping woman as they're always on the other end of it, but otherwise there's still a lot to like here.Rated R: Graphic Violence, Graphic Language, Nudity, several Sex Scenes and attempted rapes

that? it was the only thing that they did not show in the first one that needed to be shown, ho the babies were born. so stop saying it is bad, and if you really want to see bad, read Moby Dick.
