| Director Don Michael Paul takes us on a journey with these genuine characters who are thrown into a much bigger situation than they had signed up for. The protagonists and antagonists have good dimension. Nate's character Chad Michael Collins is identifiable as the guy who comes in with boots on the ground and is forced to grow a pair real quick. | After reading all the reviews, I felt as if I should give this film justice. Despite all the negative comments about the sound effects and how historically inaccurate it is, the film is incredible. I absolutely loved it, the story line is totally memorizing and I was entirely engrossed in it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a good action war film. certainly one of the best ones on Netflix! |

| This is a straight, good guys versus the bad film. You have brave soldiers ready to die following orders, soldiers that volunteer without hesitation and soldiers putting others before self. Very remarkable. Such a fresh and rewarding film where you are spared the usual evil plots, selfish conniving bastards, cowardly spoiled brats, and those sickening overuse of newly discovered CGI effects.It is fortunate that I am not familiar with the weapons in use at the time of the story or, like others, I may be distracted by the wrong choice made. | Most of the reviews that have been posted here say the movie is "unrealistic" and "Doesn't follow history"; well, they're right, it doesn't. That might be because the story line actually follows "Company of Heroes" THE GAME! That's right, a game. SPOILER ALERT: This is probably why you were wondering how they had an Atomic bomb and the fact that it wasn't actually true.
